Trump Accuses Leaders of 3 Countries of Conspiring Against His Country
SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump accused his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping of "conspiring" against his country along with Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who were in Beijing to attend a grand military parade commemorating the end of World War II.
The Republican president wrote in a post on his social media platform "Truth Social": "I wish President Xi and the great people of China a wonderful day of celebrations," before adding sarcastically, "Please send my best regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un while you conspire against the United States."
President Xi Jinping declared that his country is "unstoppable" in a speech he delivered Wednesday morning in Beijing at the beginning of a massive military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
In a televised speech, Xi stated, "The rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is unstoppable, and the noble cause of peace and development for humanity will surely triumph."
He added, "Today, humanity once again faces a choice between peace or war, dialogue or confrontation."
The Chinese president called on countries around the world to "eliminate the root cause of war and prevent a repetition of historical tragedies."
He emphasized, "Common security can only be guaranteed when countries of the world treat each other as equals, live in harmony, and support one another."
The grand military parade commenced with the attendance of more than 20 heads of state, including particularly Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
