Sheikh Arrives in the Saudi Capital Riyadh
SadaNews - Mr. Hussein Sheikh Abu Jihad, Vice President of the State of Palestine, arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh this evening on an official visit aimed at conducting consultations and coordinating positions with the Saudi leadership.
During his visit, the Sheikh is scheduled to discuss a number of political files of mutual interest, foremost among them the developments regarding the Palestinian issue, the efforts being made to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, the developments in the recognition of the Palestinian state next September, in addition to ways to enhance the unified Arab position in the face of current regional and international challenges.
This visit comes within the framework of ongoing communication between the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the continuous coordination to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
