Putin Arrives in China for a "Historic" 4-Day Visit
SadaNews - President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Tianjin, China, at the start of an official visit invited by his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, which will last until September 3rd.
President Putin was welcomed with a red carpet and a guard of honor, before boarding his presidential "Aurus" vehicle with Chinese license plates, which he will use throughout his visit to China.
The Russian president will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit hosted in the coastal city of Tianjin.
On the sidelines of the summit, Putin is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings, including discussions with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and other leaders.
Putin will also participate in events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Beijing, leading the guests at the military parade planned for this occasion.
Putin is scheduled to discuss with the Chinese president issues regarding Ukraine, the Middle East, prospects for bilateral cooperation, and other regional and international files.
