A special source for "SadaNews" denies the rumors about the appointment of an international expert in the Ministry of Finance
SadaNews - A special source for "SadaNews" clarified the details surrounding the hiring of an international expert in the Ministry of Finance, following the circulation of a letter regarding this matter on social media.
The same source denied all interpretations, rumors, and explanations regarding the mentioned expert, confirming that his appointment is part of a project funded by the World Bank, which means that the bank is responsible for paying his salary, not the Ministry of Finance.
The source emphasized that the expert was hired based on the standards of the international granting institution and based on his experience gained from working in specialized international financial companies, rather than through personal connections as some have suggested.
SadaNews communicated with several international institutions operating in the Palestinian territories, which confirmed that some employees in various government institutions have their salaries covered by international institutions as part of specific projects to support the Palestinian government and the government reform plan.
