Iran's Revolutionary Guard: We dismantled a cell linked to Mossad that planned to target civilian and military officials
SadaNews - On Saturday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the discovery and dismantling of a cell connected to the Israeli Mossad in the northeastern province of Khorasan.
The Iranian news agency "Tasnim" reported today (Saturday) that the "Imam Reza Corps" stated in a statement that, after precise and ongoing intelligence operations conducted by the Guard's intelligence organization in Khorasan, in coordination with the judiciary, eight individuals linked to the "Mossad" intelligence agency were identified and arrested.
The statement added that these individuals received specialized training via virtual space from Mossad affiliates, and during the recent confrontation between Israel and Iran, they proceeded to send coordinates of vital and sensitive centers, along with information related to prominent military figures, to Mossad intelligence officers.
The agency indicated that documents suggest the detainees were planning to carry out operations against civilian and military officials, in addition to targeting and sabotaging important centers in the city of Mashhad.
The statement also reported that among the activities of this terrorist cell was communication and cooperation with separatist groups.
