The Ministry of Education Condemns the Israeli Occupation's Raid of 6 Schools in Hebron and the Detention of Teachers
SadaNews - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education condemned the Israeli occupation forces' raid on 6 schools in Hebron Governorate, their detention of several teachers, and the assault on them.
The ministry confirmed in a statement today, Thursday, that these actions constitute a gross violation of international and humanitarian laws, particularly the agreements for the protection of education, and represent a continuation of the systematic occupation policy targeting educational institutions and instilling terror in the hearts of students and teaching staff.
The Ministry of Education called on all human rights and humanitarian institutions, both international and local, to urgently intervene to stop these violations, ensure protection for schools, students, and teachers, and hold the occupation accountable for its ongoing crimes against Palestinian education.
