Dozens Injured in Indonesia's Sulawesi Due to 6 Magnitude Earthquake
SadaNews - The National Disaster Management Authority of Indonesia reported that 29 people were injured after a 6-magnitude earthquake shook central Sulawesi early Sunday morning.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and shook the Poso area, felt by residents of neighboring regions. The authority explained in a statement that among the injured, two are in critical condition.
It added that there have been no reports of fatalities so far.
Indonesia is located in what is known as "the Pacific Ring of Fire," an active earthquake zone.
