The Austrian Arab Union Expresses Deep Concern and Disgust Over the Starvation of Gaza Residents
SadaNews - The Austrian Arab Union stated on Thursday that it is following with deep concern and extreme disgust the genocide crimes faced by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which today manifest in the most horrific forms through a systematic policy of starvation targeting children, women, and the sick, in a blatant violation of all humanitarian and legal norms.
The union's statement said: It has become clear that what is happening is not just military aggression, but a deliberate war of starvation aimed at breaking the will of the Palestinian people by depriving them of the most basic necessities of life: food, water, medicine, and electricity. More than two million people are left to face hunger and disease amidst a suffocating siege and continuous bombardment.
The union condemned, in the strongest terms, these immoral and inhuman crimes, affirming its complete solidarity with our people in Gaza, holding the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the suffering of civilians, and calling on the international community for urgent action to put an end to these criminal policies.
