Update:: Continuous Attacks by Settlers in the West Bank

SadaNews - Settlers opened fire this evening, Monday, towards citizens as they were tending to their cows near their tents in the northern Jordan Valley.

Eyewitnesses reported that a number of settlers disembarked from three vehicles and opened fire towards the shepherds while they were tending to their cows near their tents in Khilat al-Hamma in the northern Jordan Valley.

Since the summer of last year, more than twenty Palestinian families have been displaced from their homes in the northern Jordan Valley as a result of escalating attacks by settlers, while three Palestinian communities in the northern Jordan Valley have been completely emptied of residents due to these attacks, with families from other communities also leaving for the same reason.

Meanwhile, settlers attacked 15-year-old Ibrahim Mustafa Ibrahim Al-Obayat with a stun gun while he was returning from the town of Teqoa to his home in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that settlers intercepted the path of the boy Al-Obayat near the Al-Minya roundabout on the main road, chased him, and threw a stun gun at him, resulting in minor injuries to his hand.

The villages east of Bethlehem, primarily Kisan, Al-Minya, and Teqoa, are witnessing a dangerous escalation in settlers' attacks, in an attempt to impose control over the land and displace the inhabitants, as part of a systematic Israeli policy targeting the Palestinian presence in agricultural and open areas.

It is worth noting that the village of Kisan is besieged by several settlements, most notably "Ma'ale Amos" and "Evyatar," and its lands are subjected to continuous confiscation, amid escalating attacks by settlers on citizens' homes and farms.

Additionally, a citizen was injured in an attack by settlers on Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Local sources stated that settlers from the "Avi Gal" settlement, established on citizens' lands and properties east of Yatta, attacked homes in the village of Al-Rakeez in the Masafar region, beating the residents, which led to citizen Muhammad Al-Amour sustaining injuries and bruises.

They added that the occupation forces arrested citizen Eissa Al-Amour and his brother Muhammad despite his injuries, detained a number of citizens in the village, and fired live ammunition, sound bombs, and tear gas, with no injuries reported.
