Update: Sources to "SadaNews": Hamas will respond positively to the proposed ceasefire

Exclusive to SadaNews - Sources revealed to "SadaNews" that Hamas will inform the mediators tonight or tomorrow of its agreement to the current proposal in preparation for a rapid negotiation round that will culminate in announcing an agreement soon.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israeli officials said that U.S. President Donald Trump intends to announce a ceasefire agreement in Gaza next Monday.

Estimates in Israel suggest that the Hamas movement will respond positively to the proposal for a temporary ceasefire lasting 60 days.

According to the Hebrew Channel Reshet Kan, as translated by SadaNews, Hamas may respond positively tonight, noting that an Israeli delegation will be immediately sent to Doha after receiving the movement's response to continue negotiations.

It was indicated that Israel is optimistic about the continuation of the negotiations, but it also believes that the communications will take time.

It underscored that there are still substantial issues in dispute regarding how the Israeli army will withdraw and from where exactly, as well as the issue of prisoner exchange keys and the matter of ending the war.

In another report, the channel mentioned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the families of the hostages during his visit to Kibbutz Nir Oz, "From our side, there is an agreement, and we hope to announce it soon."

Netanyahu publicly affirmed his commitment to recovering all hostages, both living and deceased.

Meanwhile, Channel 12 reported that optimism is the prevailing sentiment in Israel, noting that Netanyahu will hold a meeting of the small cabinet tonight to discuss the deal.
