
Martyr Killed by Occupation Forces Near Nur Shams Camp in Tulkarem
SadaNews - A citizen was martyred by Israeli occupation forces this evening, Thursday, near the Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem.
The Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of citizen Walid Hassan Saad Bdeir (61 years old) from gunfire by the occupation forces near Nur Shams camp.
Local sources mentioned that citizen Bdeir sustained serious injuries from the occupation forces' gunfire in the Al-Ghazal bridge area, near the entrance of Nur Shams camp.
With the martyrdom of citizen Bdeir, the number of martyrs in Tulkarem since the beginning of the ongoing aggression has risen to 14 citizens, including one child and two women, one of whom was in her eighth month of pregnancy, in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests, widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, vehicles, and the forced displacement of more than 5,000 families from the camps, affecting more than 25,000 citizens.
The Nur Shams and Tulkarem camps have been witnessing extensive Israeli aggression for several months.
The occupation forces are demolishing hundreds of homes within the camps as part of their attempts to alter the geographic reality there.
