Horrific Massacre: 11 Martyrs in the Bombing of "Mustafa Hafiz" School West of Gaza (Video)
SadaNews - 11 people, including women and infants, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on the "Mustafa Hafiz" school, which shelters displaced persons west of Gaza City early this morning. Additionally, 6 martyrs fell in an Israeli bombing of aid seekers around the Netzarim axis south of the city.
Footage showed the distressing moments following the airstrike, with flames engulfing the "Mustafa Hafiz" school and several displaced persons along with their belongings burned.
The occupation army also carried out demolitions of residential buildings in the eastern areas of Gaza City.
Airstrikes from the occupation aircraft targeted the eastern areas of the Shuja'iyya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City.
On Wednesday, 112 martyrs were reported in airstrikes by the Israeli occupation across various areas in the sector, including 40 in Gaza City and 24 among aid seekers, according to documentation from hospitals in Gaza.
The Israeli army continued targeting the gatherings of displaced persons and health facilities. There are documented images from the first moments of the Israeli bombing in front of Al-Awda Hospital located in the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the sector, showing attempts to rescue victims outside the hospital.
Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, director of the field hospitals at the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, told Al Jazeera that most injuries occurring in front of aid distribution centers are in the upper parts of the body and the head.
Al-Hams warned that the operational shutdown of Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza would lead to a real humanitarian catastrophe.
Meanwhile, UNRWA called for avoiding famine in the Gaza Strip and for resuming humanitarian aid on a large scale without interruption, and safely, under United Nations mechanisms. The agency added that people in Gaza are exhausted after nearly 660 days of war.
