Presidency Condemns Israeli Calls for So-Called "Imposing Sovereignty" on the Occupied Arab West Bank
SadaNews - The Palestinian presidency condemned the serious Israeli calls for what is referred to as imposing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Arab West Bank, as stated by an Israeli minister.
The presidency reiterated its complete rejection of these calls, which contradict international legitimacy and international law, all of which emphasize the necessity of ending the occupation of all Palestinian territories occupied in 1967, including the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The official spokesperson for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, stated that these rejected calls are part of the comprehensive war waged by the occupation authorities against our people and our land, and represent persistent Israeli attempts to implement their schemes aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause. He added.
He further stated that these condemned remarks contribute only to destabilizing the situation and will not bring security to anyone; rather, the entire region will remain on the brink of a volcano. Additionally, they do not help provide an opportunity to succeed in efforts made, whether by the U.S., Egypt, or Qatar, to end the Gaza War and restore calm to the West Bank.
