
The toll of the Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 57,012 martyrs and 134,592 injured
SadaNews - The toll of the aggression launched by Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 57,012 martyrs and 134,592 injured since October 7, 2023.
The Ministry of Health reported today, Wednesday, that among the toll are 6,454 martyrs and 22,551 injured since March 18 of this year, which is when the occupation resumed its aggression on the Strip following a ceasefire agreement.
During the past 24 hours, 142 martyrs (including 3 whose bodies were retrieved) and 487 injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry stated that ambulance and civil defense crews are facing difficulties in reaching the victims as many of them remain under the rubble and debris in the streets.
It noted that the toll of martyrs from "aid" who arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours reached 39 martyrs, and more than 210 injuries, bringing the total number of martyrs involved in securing basic needs who reached hospitals to 640 martyrs and more than 4,488 injuries.
