
Major General Al-Saqa: Police Day is a National Station to Recall a Glorious Journey of Work and Dedication to Enforcing the Law and Preserving Human Dignity
SadaNews - The Director-General of the Palestinian Police, Major General Allam Al-Saqa, addressed the police personnel and the people of Palestine on the occasion of the thirty-first anniversary of the establishment of the Palestinian police. He praised the efforts of officers, non-commissioned officers, and individuals, commending their continuous sacrifices in serving security and the rule of law, despite the difficult challenges facing the Palestinian cause.
In his speech on this occasion, Major General Al-Saqa conveyed greetings from President Mahmoud Abbas, Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa, and Minister of Interior Major General Ziad Habbash, emphasizing that Police Day represents a national station to recall a glorious journey of work and dedication to enforcing the law and preserving human dignity, and to renew the pledge of commitment to the spirit of responsibility and belonging.
He pointed out that the Palestinian police, for more than three decades, have been at the forefront alongside other security agencies, reaffirming their steadfast alignment with the interests and rights of the people, and their ability to establish security and achieve stability, despite the ongoing escalation and aggression.
Major General Al-Saqa said, "On this day, we remember your sacrifices in the field, where you have given martyrs and wounded in the West Bank and Gaza to ensure our people enjoy security and stability. You have always been the vigilant eye and the support upon which the homeland relies."
He also announced the launch of the Community and Media Police Management as a strategic step within the modern vision of the Palestinian police aimed at enhancing partnership with the community and its various institutions, and keeping pace with advanced global experiences in making security a collective responsibility.
He affirmed that this pioneering direction responds to the requirements of the time and contributes to enhancing preventive efforts to combat crime, and establishing concepts of justice, integrity, and the rule of law.
In conclusion, Major General Al-Saqa saluted the men and women of the police who continue day and night to perform their national duty, affirming his determination to continue developing the police apparatus and enhancing its efficiency. He also paid tribute to the souls of the police martyrs, pledging to continue the journey with determination and belonging.
