"Jerusalem Electricity" and Jericho Municipality Discuss Enhancing Partnership to Develop Electricity Services and Improve Service Quality

SadaNews: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari, and the General Manager, Engineer Mohamed Zidan, held a meeting with the Mayor of Jericho, Major General Salem Al-Ghrouf, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and joint coordination, contributing to the development of electricity services and meeting citizens' needs.

The company's delegation, which included the Jericho Branch Manager Engineer Majdi Al-Harbawi and accompanying members, met with Mayor of Jericho, Major General Salem Al-Ghrouf, in the presence of Municipal Council Member Shakir Jalayta. They reviewed the status of electricity services in the city and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides, ensuring the continuity of service delivery at the highest levels of quality and efficiency.

The two sides also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, foremost among them being the development of coordination between the company and the municipality, monitoring joint projects, and exploring means to improve the electricity services provided to citizens in line with the needs of the expanding city.

The General Manager of Jerusalem Electricity, Engineer Zidan, emphasized that this meeting is part of its approach to enhance cooperation with municipalities and local authorities, considering them as essential partners in developing infrastructure and improving service levels. He stressed the importance of continuing coordination and communication to effectively implement projects, respond to citizens' needs, and enhance service quality in various areas of concession.
