Producer Price Index for Locally Consumed Goods in February 2026

The Producer Price Index for locally consumed goods from domestic production decreased by 3.95%, reaching 195.65 in February 2026 compared to 203.70 in January 2026 (base year 2019 = 100).

Producer Price Index for Exported Goods in February 2026

The Producer Price Index for exported goods from domestic production decreased by 0.51%, reaching 116.30 in February 2026 compared to 116.90 in January 2026 (base year 2019 = 100).

Movement of Producer Prices Within Main Activities in February 2026

Prices of goods produced from agriculture, forestry, and fishing activities, which represent a relative importance of 29.94% of the product basket, recorded a decrease of 6.38%, resulting from a sharp decline in fishery goods prices by 42.35% and prices of permanent crop products by 12.21%. The average prices for: grapes 5.56 Shekels/kg, guava 7.71 Shekels/kg, clementines 2.11 Shekels/kg, and ground berries 9.89 Shekels/kg, despite an increase in date prices averaging 8.89 Shekels/kg.

Prices of goods within the activity of growing non-permanent crops decreased by 8.79%, with average prices for: cauliflower 3.32 Shekels/kg, spinach 1.59 Shekels/kg, greenhouse tomatoes 5.49 Shekels/kg, hot green peppers 8.16 Shekels/kg, sweet green peppers 3.88 Shekels/kg, and local green beans 4.33 Shekels/kg, despite an increase in average prices for: greenhouse cucumbers 3.05 Shekels/kg, zucchini 5.01 Shekels/kg, eggplant 4.73 Shekels/kg, green beans 6.68 Shekels/kg, and okra 55.95 Shekels/kg.

Prices of goods within the animal production activity recorded an increase of 6.96%, with average prices for: local live lamb 44.13 Shekels/kg, and large live broiler chicken 11.05 Shekels/kg.

Prices of goods produced from mining and quarrying activities, which represent a relative importance of 1.41% of the product basket, dropped by 0.29% in February 2026 compared to the previous month.

Additionally, prices of goods produced from manufacturing activities, which represent a relative importance of 58.92% of the product basket, decreased by 0.18%, due to a decline in average prices of goods produced in the following activities: chemical industries and chemical products by 3.52%, bakery products by 1.68%, basic iron and steel by 1.64%, and clothing production by 0.50%, despite an increase in average prices of goods produced in the following activities: grain mill products by 1.61%, and meat processing and preservation by 1.26%.

Prices in the group of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supplies, which represent a relative importance of 8.23% of the product basket, rose by 1.59% during February 2026 compared to the previous month.

Prices of water supply, sewage, waste management, and treatment activities, which represent a relative importance of 1.50% of the product basket, increased by 0.97% in February 2026.
