At the level of main groups, the prices of raw materials and primary materials recorded a decrease of 0.40%, while the prices for equipment rentals saw an increase of 0.12%, and the prices for labor costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared to the previous month.
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index for Non-Residential Buildings
The construction costs for non-residential buildings in the West Bank recorded a decrease of 0.14% during February 2026 compared to January 2026; the cost index for non-residential buildings fell to 117.46 compared to 117.63 in the previous month (base year 2013=100).
At the level of main groups, the prices of raw materials and primary materials recorded a decrease of 0.24%, while the prices for equipment rentals increased by 0.12%, and the prices for labor costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared to the previous month.
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index for Frame Buildings
The construction costs for frame buildings in the West Bank recorded a decrease of 67.0% during February 2026 compared to January 2026; the cost index for frame buildings fell to 115.05 compared to 115.83 in the previous month (base year 2013=100).
At the level of main groups, the prices of raw materials and primary materials recorded a decrease of 1.09%, while the prices for equipment rentals saw an increase of 0.12%, and the prices for labor costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared to the previous month.
Slight Decrease in the Construction Cost Index for Road Construction
The construction costs for various types of roads in the West Bank recorded a slight decrease of 0.08% during February 2026 compared to January 2026; the overall cost index for roads fell to 111.84 compared to 111.93 in the previous month (base month is December 2008=100).
At the level of main groups, the prices of raw materials and primary materials recorded a decrease of 0.23%, while the prices for equipment operation and maintenance costs increased by 1.07%, and the prices for equipment rentals increased by 0.16%, while the prices for labor costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared to the previous month.
Decrease in the General Index of Water Network Construction Costs
The construction costs for water networks in the West Bank recorded a decrease of 0.37% during February 2026 compared to January 2026; the cost index for water network construction fell to 124.70 compared to 125.15 in the previous month (base month is January 2010=100).
At the level of water tank prices, the index recorded a decrease of 0.88%, falling to 111.69 compared to 112.68 in the previous month, and the prices for water networks recorded a decrease of 0.17%, with the index dropping to 130.61 compared to 130.82 in the previous month.
Slight Increase in the General Index of Sewer Network Construction Costs
The construction costs for sewer networks in the West Bank recorded a slight increase of 0.08% during February 2026 compared to January 2026; the index increased to 113.35 compared to 113.26 in the previous month (base month is January 2010=100).
