Palestine Bank and New Cash Company Sign Agreement to Enhance Electronic Payment Services

SadaNews Economy - The Palestine Bank signed a cooperation agreement with New Cash aimed at developing electronic payment services and expanding the range of digital financial solutions, at the bank's headquarters.

The signing ceremony was attended by the CEO of Palestine Bank, Muhammad Shawar, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of New Cash Company, Marwan Saqr, and the General Manager of the company, Amjad Al-Bashtawi, along with the Head of Retail Banking at Palestine Bank, Samih Abdullah, and a number of officials from both sides.

This agreement comes as part of the efforts of both parties to enhance electronic payment services and facilitate collection operations, which contributes to improving user experience and keeping pace with rapid developments in the digital financial services sector, as well as supporting financial inclusion and providing advanced financial solutions that meet customer needs.

Under this agreement, New Cash Company will continue to provide and offer services for accepting local and international cards for Palestine Bank customers through the Soft POS application and POS devices, allowing merchants and customers modern, easy, and secure payment options.

Mohammad Shawar, the CEO of Palestine Bank, confirmed that this agreement represents an important step in the bank's strategy to develop the electronic payment system and enhance cooperation with fintech companies, stating: "We at Palestine Bank are keen to build strategic partnerships with companies specialized in fintech, which contributes to developing our digital banking services and providing modern and secure payment solutions for our customers, in line with the rapid transformations in the financial sector."

For his part, the General Manager of New Cash Company, Amjad Al-Bashtawi, explained that the collaboration with Palestine Bank reflects the company's commitment to expanding the range of digital financial services in the Palestinian market, adding: "This agreement is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance electronic payment services and provide innovative solutions for merchants and customers, contributing to facilitating payment and collection operations and broadening the base of beneficiaries from modern financial services."

Both parties are also looking forward through this partnership to launch initiatives and new services that contribute to enhancing the use of digital financial solutions and expanding their benefits across Palestine, supporting the national economy and facilitating financial transactions for individuals and businesses.
