Palestinian Telecommunications Company/Jawwal Announces Business Results for the Year 2025

SadaNews: The Palestinian Telecommunications Company/Jawwal has disclosed its consolidated preliminary (unaudited) financial results for the year 2025, where the total revenues reached 285.6 million Jordanian Dinars compared to 241.1 million Jordanian Dinars in 2024, marking a growth rate of 18.4%. This reflected positively on the net profit, which amounted to 52.2 million Jordanian Dinars in 2025 compared to 41.9 million Jordanian Dinars in 2024, with a growth rate of 24.6%.

The company's results showed remarkable growth despite the significant political and economic challenges faced by Palestine, especially with the continuation of aggression against the Gaza Strip until the beginning of the last quarter of the year.

Chairman Sobhi Al-Masri stated: "Year after year, our company continues to grow to maintain its leadership in the telecommunications and information technology sector. We always prioritize our customers' experience and reaffirm our commitment to further strategic investments aimed at building a digital national economy capable of adapting and withstanding the toughest conditions."

He expressed pride in the company's teams who continued to work to keep Gaza connected during the aggression, as they put in extraordinary efforts after the ceasefire came into effect in January 2025 to improve network performance and enable it to fulfill its mission as a window of hope for the residents of the sector. These efforts culminated in Jawwal winning the title of the best telecommunications company in the world in crisis response for the year 2025, confirming the efficiency of its engineers and teams and their innovative capabilities in the most challenging circumstances.

For his part, CEO Abdul Majid Melhem praised the efforts of the company's teams throughout the year in achieving these positive results, which would not have been possible without the trust of the company's subscribers in its services. The number of subscribers to home fiber optic services grew by 20%, while business sector services achieved remarkable performance with a growth of 17%, becoming the main benchmark for growth across different sectors.

He pointed out that the company successfully relaunched roaming services in Egypt after being suspended for years, and the user base of Reflect grew by 48%, affirming that the Palestinian Telecommunications Company/Jawwal continues its journey of digital transformation, as subscribers' reliance on its digital channels increased by 60%, enriching their experience and facilitating their access to all its services.

It is noteworthy that the Palestinian Telecommunications Company/Jawwal was founded in 1995 as a public shareholding company to connect Palestine with the largest and most extensive developing network in the fields of cellular, fixed telecommunications, and the Internet, as well as IT solutions, with continued growth to elevate Palestine's position as one of the most influential countries in the technological sector in the region.
