The New Board of Directors of 'Ataa Palestine' Holds Its First Meeting After Election to Discuss the Relief Association's Plans and Programs for 2026
SadaNews - The new board of directors of the 'Ataa Palestine' association held its first meeting after being elected by the general assembly via Zoom technology today, Thursday, which included adopting recommendations related to the association's relief and charitable programs for the year 2026.
The new board discussed the plans and programs of the association for the year 2026 in cooperation with partners and donors, specifically focusing on charitable and relief programs for the blessed month of Ramadan.
The 'Ataa Palestine' association had announced the launch of its Ramadan charity campaign "Ataa for Gaza 2026," which includes distributing iftar meals to poor and needy families in the Gaza Strip through the "Iftar Al-Saim" charity, which will continue throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, in addition to distributing Ramadan parcels consisting of 18 essential items.
The board approved new mechanisms to develop the association's work in line with the recent recommendations, reformulating humanitarian and relief priorities to enhance its programs in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and also working on qualitative changes to improve the quality of relief and care at 'Dar Al-Raja'.
Regarding the relief and charitable programs, the board adopted recommendations related to the "Orphan Sponsorship" program for the year 2026, which aims to increase the number of orphans who have lost one or both parents included in the program.
The 'Ataa Palestine' association is an independent non-profit national Palestinian organization established in 2010, and it formed an extension of the 'Ataa Gaza' organization founded in 2003. Its activities cover all Palestinian areas in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Jerusalem, and it works in partnership with the private sector, and since its establishment, it has undertaken dozens of qualitative projects, the most important of which are relief programs, cultural empowerment, vocational training, and sustainable development to promote social, economic, environmental, and cultural justice in Palestine.
