Palestinian Insurance Companies Union Commends Nablus Police Efforts in Enhancing Traffic Safety and Public Order
SadaNews - The Palestinian Insurance Companies Union praised the efforts of the Nablus Governorate Police and the General Directorate of Traffic Police in enhancing traffic safety and maintaining public order in the governorate.
This came during a visit by the Union's President Anwar Al-Shanti, accompanied by the Union's Secretary General Kayed Miari, and a delegation from insurance companies, to the Nablus Police Directorate, where they were received by Brigadier General Isa Abu Alan, the Director of Police for the governorate, Brigadier General Mansour Daraghmeh, the Director of the General Directorate of Traffic Police, Colonel Samer Al-Zeitawe, the Director of Community Police and Media, Captain Saleh Awad, the Head of the Accidents Department, and Engineer Hossam Al-Qudah.
During the meeting, Brigadier General Abu Alan emphasized the importance of integration and partnership with the insurance sector in protecting lives and properties, and enhancing the culture of traffic compliance, pointing to a project that the Nablus Police is working on to establish a traffic information room by linking the cameras spread across the city, which contributes to improving traffic management and rapid response to accidents.
For his part, Al-Shanti appreciated the ongoing cooperation with the police apparatus, praising the field measures taken on the ground that contribute to reducing traffic accidents and enhancing citizens' trust in the police authority.
