SadaNews - As part of its ongoing commitment to support children without family care in Palestine, Jordan Bank has renewed its cooperation agreement with SOS Children's Villages in Palestine, which includes the sponsorship of a family home from the SOS Children's Village in Bethlehem.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Saif Issa, CEO of Jordan Bank branches in Palestine, and Ms. Ghada Harzallah, National Director of SOS Children's Villages Palestine, in the presence of a team from the bank and the organization.
Jordan Bank's support includes securing various essential needs such as education, clothing, food, healthcare, psychological support, and other expenses for a year for one of the village's homes, where a group of children lives. Alternative care services and family support are provided to help them become independent and active members of society.
Issa stated that renewing the agreement with SOS Children's Villages comes as part of Jordan Bank’s strategy to achieve a clear and sustainable social impact, by supporting community initiatives aimed at providing care and a dignified life for children without family care, and securing a promising future for them, commending the efforts made by SOS Children's Villages in Palestine in this field, and its active role in the community.
For her part, Harzallah expressed her pride in the strategic cooperation linking SOS Children's Villages with Jordan Bank, and in renewing the cooperation agreement, which will enable the organization to continue providing alternative family care services, including food security, shelter, education, healthcare, psychological support, economic empowerment, protection, and community integration for children without family care.
It is noteworthy that Jordan Bank is keen on implementing corporate social responsibility programs that contribute to achieving sustainable development and creating a positive impact in Palestinian society.
