The conference, which took place in Ramallah, discussed the latest achievements of the bank in implementing the strategic plan for 2023-2026 and preparations for the upcoming strategic plan for 2027-2030, in addition to the main challenges facing the Palestinian banking sector at this time and the best ways to address them.

Participants also provided several recommendations and proposals that will contribute to improving the quality of service provided to customers, saving time and effort, which ensures them an outstanding banking experience.

The conference included several presentations and interventions addressing several issues related to the bank's operations and strategic plans, especially the digital transformation strategy, operational efficiency and quality of services, as well as challenges specific to the local market and banking operations in Palestine.

Dr. Imad Al-Saadi, General Manager of the Palestinian Islamic Bank, stated that the conference comes from the importance of the periodic review of the bank's plans and the achievements realized within them, and the necessity to unify visions and ideas to confront the challenges that have recently escalated and affected the Palestinian economy in general and the banking sector in particular.

Al-Saadi added: "The holding of this conference enhances the bank's efforts to develop its operations and to continue achieving its various plans, and the discussions and deliberations that took place presented practical solutions to deal with many of the issues and challenges facing the bank".

He emphasized that this conference comes at a time when the bank continues to achieve accomplishments on various levels despite the difficult conditions we are experiencing in Palestine, adding that these achievements would not have been realized without the proactive plans of the board of directors and their efficient implementation by all levels of the bank, under the supervision of the Sharia Supervisory Board.

Al-Saadi also mentioned: "The conference also included the participation of employees involved in the future leadership qualification program LEADERS, affirming the bank's commitment to investing in human capital and developing and enhancing employees' skills to increase their effectiveness in their work and prepare them to be the future leaders of the bank".

The message and vision of the Palestinian Islamic Bank revolve around excellence in providing modern and secure banking and investment solutions in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law. It also outlines a well-studied strategy to proceed with the digital transformation process that has resulted in the launch of pioneering digital services through an easy and secure environment that enhances the digital experience for individual and corporate clients.
