Trade Balance Deficit of Monitored Goods Increases by 8% in June

SadaNews Economy - The Central Bureau of Statistics announced an 8% increase in the trade balance deficit of monitored goods during the month of June compared to the same month in 2024.

The statistics office explained in a report released today, Sunday, on the monitored foreign trade of goods for the observed month, which represents the difference between exports and imports, that the value of the deficit reached 388.4 million US dollars in the past month of June.

Exports increased during June 2025 by 14% compared to June 2024, amounting to 122.9 million US dollars.

Exports to Israel also increased during June 2025 by 14% compared to June 2024, with exports to Israel constituting 93% of the total value of exports in June 2025. Meanwhile, exports to other countries rose by 11% compared to June 2024.

Imports during June 2025 increased by 9% compared to June 2024, with a value of 511.3 million US dollars.

Additionally, imports from Israel increased by 2% during June 2025 compared to June 2024, accounting for 55% of the total value of imports for June 2025. Imports from other countries also rose by 20% compared to June 2024.
