Video: In Amman… Quds Bank announces a stand with the city of Jerusalem to support health and educational institutions
SadaNews Economy - As part of its annual activities to support Jerusalem, the Bayt Al-Maqdis Forum organized a unique event in the Jordanian capital, Amman, dedicated this year to supporting the medical sector in the city, with the presence of prominent figures from Palestine and Jordan, including forum officials and representatives from civil society organizations.
Quds Bank participated in the event in support of the forum, with a delegation headed by CEO Muhammad Shawar, who delivered a speech affirming that Jerusalem is not just a name on the map, but a beating heart in the conscience of every Palestinian and free Arab.
During the event, the bank's CEO announced the launch of the "Stand with the City of Jerusalem" initiative, dedicated to supporting health, educational, and cultural institutions in the city. Muhammad Shawar handed over the dedicated support directly to the beneficiary institutions, in a symbolic step that underscores the bank's commitment to support the steadfastness of the city's vital institutions and enhance their ability to continue fulfilling their humanitarian and educational mission.
The institutions benefiting from the initiative included: Bayt Al-Maqdis Forum to enhance forum activities, Al-Maqasid Hospital and Al-Mutala’ Hospital to support the health sector. Al-Aqsa Kindergarten Schools and Dar Al-Child Al-Arabi to support education and care for children. Faisal Al-Husseini Foundation for cultural, community, and educational projects.
During the event, Al-Mutala’ Hospital and Al-Maqasid Hospital presented a detailed report that highlighted the medical situation and the health services provided by Al-Mutala’ and Al-Maqasid Hospitals, allowing attendees to understand the health reality and the challenges facing the medical sector in Jerusalem.
At the end of the event, Nawaf Al-Zaru, the forum's president, honored Quds Bank and thanked it for its continuous support, affirming that this support reflects the bank's ongoing commitment to supporting the steadfastness of Jerusalemites and their vital institutions.
It is worth noting that the initiative comes as a practical translation of the bank's community strategy towards the city and its institutions, which considers its social responsibility not as an option but as a firm duty towards the institutions and the people of its community.
