
Arab Islamic Bank and Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate Discuss Means of Joint Cooperation
SadaNews - The Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Dr. Leila Ghannam, and her accompanying delegation visited the headquarters of the Arab Islamic Bank's General Administration, where she was received by Mr. Hani Naser, the bank's General Manager, Mr. Nizham Al-Zamel, Director of Individual Banking, and Mr. Ahmad Sartaoui, Director of Public Relations and Marketing.
This visit came as part of efforts to enhance cooperation between the public and banking sectors, and to discuss mechanisms for joint work in the areas of social responsibility and sustainable development, which contributes to supporting the local community and addressing its growing needs, especially in light of the economic and social challenges facing Palestine.
During the meeting, Dr. Ghannam praised the pioneering role played by the Arab Islamic Bank in serving the national economy and its continuous support for community and humanitarian initiatives, stressing the importance of concerted efforts between official and banking institutions to serve the citizen and enhance their steadfastness.
For his part, Mr. Hani Naser welcomed this visit, noting that the bank places special emphasis on social responsibility as part of its sustainable strategy, and is always striving to support vital sectors such as education, health, and economic development. He also confirmed the bank's readiness to cooperate with the governorate in implementing developmental initiatives that serve the most needy groups.
The meeting also reviewed several community initiatives implemented by the bank and explored the possibility of adopting new initiatives in partnership with the governorate, targeting the empowerment of youth, women, and marginalized groups. Both sides emphasized the importance of investing in the Palestinian individual and directing resources toward projects with sustainable social and economic impact, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and shared national responsibility.
