Jordan Bank: Main Sponsor of the "Start Right" Summer Camp for Young Entrepreneurs

SadaNews - Driven by its social responsibility and belief in the importance of investing in youth and training them in entrepreneurship and financial management, Jordan Bank has sponsored the "Start Right" summer camp for young entrepreneurs, organized by the Al-Masar Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Empowerment and the Community Development Council. The activities will commence at the end of July in the city of Hebron.

The camp targets young men and women from Hebron Governorate aged between 12-17 years. It includes a unique training and educational program in Palestine, aimed at developing the capacities of the emerging generation in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and financial management. This will be achieved through practical training in project management, design thinking, financial planning, teamwork, and marketing entrepreneurial ideas, in addition to awareness sessions and interactive training workshops conducted by specialists on the foundations of financial culture, proper money management, and personal and community financial management.

This camp is part of a comprehensive national plan being implemented in five Palestinian governorates during July and August, starting from Hebron, passing through Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Ramallah and Al-Bireh, and reaching Jericho and the Jordan Valley, in partnership with the Palestinian Monetary Authority and involving several national and international institutions, as well as private sector and civil society organizations, with main sponsorship from Jordan Bank.

The CEO of Jordan Bank branches in Palestine, Mr. Saif Issa, confirmed that the bank believes in the importance of investing in the young generation and providing an incubating environment for their ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives. Our sponsorship of this camp stems from our belief that youth are the backbone of the future and that building financial and entrepreneurial awareness among them at an early age is a national and social responsibility.

Issa stated that the "Start Right" camp is considered one of the exemplary initiatives in Palestine, due to the comprehensive training content it will offer, the wide cooperation among official, civil, and private institutions, and our support for this camp is an extension of Jordan Bank's message in empowering communities, supporting innovation, and enhancing financial culture among emerging generations.

He added that Jordan Bank continues its commitment to expanding impactful community partnerships by supporting programs that make a real difference in the lives of Palestinian youth, opening new horizons for entrepreneurship, work, and creativity.

It is expected that more than 300 participants from various targeted governorates will benefit from the camp, with small entrepreneurial projects presented at the end of each stage.

It is worth mentioning that Jordan Bank is among the first financial institutions to establish a presence in Palestine after 1994, providing distinguished and advanced banking services, targeting a wide range of Palestinian sectors, and contributing to supporting and developing the local economy.
