"Jerusalem Electricity" Establishes a Culture of Safety and Rational Use in Isolated Villages
SadaNews - As part of its ongoing commitment to promote a culture of safe and rational electricity use, the Jerusalem District Electricity Company organized an interactive awareness meeting in the isolated village of Beit Iskaria, south of Bethlehem, with the participation of more than 40 students and their mothers.
Engineer Ibrahim Kiryakos introduced the participants in a simplified and interactive manner to the importance of rationalizing electricity consumption and ways to prevent electrical hazards, through enjoyable activities and educational interactive competitions that helped convey the information in an easy and attractive way.
At the end of the meeting, the company distributed awareness brochures and symbolic gifts, aiming to reinforce the awareness messages in the minds of the children and their mothers, and encourage them to implement them in their daily lives.
The company stated: "We are proud to reach this resilient town, and we renew our commitment to spreading awareness everywhere because safety is everyone's responsibility... and knowledge is a power that protects us."
