Jerusalem Electricity Company Explores Joint Cooperation with Al-Quds Open University - Jericho Branch
SadaNews - As part of its ongoing efforts to expand academic partnerships and enhance vocational training, a delegation from the training center of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company visited the branch of Al-Quds Open University in Jericho Governorate, where they were received by the branch director, Dr. Younis Jafar.
The delegation included the training center director, Eng. Bassam Badr, his deputy, Mr. Jihad Awdat, and the training coordinator, Ms. Mai Najada. The visit aimed to congratulate and explore ways to develop joint cooperation in training fields and the programs offered by the university's continuing education center.
During the meeting, the importance of continuing the existing partnership between the two parties was emphasized, through the implementation of specialized training programs and exchange workshops, which contribute to the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and provide university students with practical training opportunities in the fields of energy, electricity, and modern technology.
For his part, Dr. Jafar expressed his appreciation for the Jerusalem District Electricity Company and its training center, praising the quality of joint cooperation, and affirming the university's readiness to expand the horizons of joint work for the benefit of students and the local community.
This step is part of the company's strategy to activate its role in social responsibility and support the education sector by building bridges of communication and integration with academic institutions.
