American company NVIDIA plans to expand its activities in the occupied territories
SadaNews - The American company NVIDIA, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, intends to expand its activities in the occupied territories of 1948 by establishing a new complex in the northern part of the country, according to announcements published by the company in local newspapers.
The company is looking for a piece of land of up to 120 dunams, with building rights that could reach 180,000 square meters, to be located near its current headquarters in Yokneam.
NVIDIA currently employs more than 5,000 employees in Israel, and experts in the tech sector estimate that the anticipated expansion could double this number in the coming years, enhancing Israel's status as a major center for chip development and artificial intelligence.
It is noteworthy that Intel, NVIDIA's main competitor, currently employs about 9,500 employees in Israel, indicating that the competition between the tech giants continues within the "Israeli market".
