Between the April of Time… and April of Fatah

April is no longer just a month in the calendar…
but a complete state of transformation that begins where no one can see us… and ends where the whole world sees us.

Two days remain until April of Time…
where trees awaken from their roots, not from their blossoms…
where life begins in profound silence from beneath the soil before daring to emerge into light and visibility.

And there is one day left, or less, or more, until April of Fatah…
that April which is not measured in days but in pivotal moments
and which is embodied today in a new pivotal station… the eighth conference of Fatah,
where the meeting is not just a gathering… but a reordering of meaning, path, and role.

In April, nature does not lie; the trees…
they do not bloom until they are filled from within
and do not adorn themselves until their roots are strong.

But the trees also know…
that they cannot bloom as they should
unless they go through a necessary and difficult phase: the compulsory pruning phase.

Pruning removes the dead branches
and lightens the burden of what can no longer give
not as a punishment… but as a condition for life.

For the tree that keeps what has died within it…
weakens what is alive within it.

And here lies the lesson.

As Fatah enters its eighth conference,
it does not only need new blossoms…
but strong, young stems capable of carrying those blossoms.

Stems that grow from the same roots
carrying the same belonging but with a renewed spirit,
with a mind capable of action, not just of observation.

The goal is not to exclude anyone…
nor to break anyone…
but to pump life back into the organizational body
so that efficiency advances and space is opened for those who have the ability to work.

Because trees do not fear pruning…
but they flourish afterward.

Today, as we stand between two Aprils…
April of Time and April of Fatah
we realize that what is built in the halls must extend to the streets,
and that what is said in words must turn into actions.

Our people are no longer waiting for slogans…
but waiting for a promise resembling April:
calm at its beginning… sincere in its course… and decisive in its results.

A promise that the eighth conference will be a real starting point
not just an organizational station
and that Fatah will return through it to its natural depth:
among the people, with them, and for them.

A promise that the outputs of the conference will transform into a daily work program
that protects the steadfastness of our people
addresses their economic pains
and restores trust between the citizen and the movement.

In April, the roots work silently…
but they create the miracle.

And this is how this conference should be:
a profound responsible work that does not seek applause
but a real impact that people feel in their lives.

Fatah is not a memory…
nor a station…
Fatah is a cycle of life.

And if the trees in April declare the beginning of a new season
then Fatah, through its eighth conference, demands to announce the beginning of a new phase of action…
a phase in which the initiative is regained
energies are activated
and doors are opened for everyone who carries sincere belonging.

April tells us:
that what is not built in the roots… will not hold in the blossoms.

And that what is not renewed in the stems…
cannot bear the future.

That is why…
this year's April of Fatah is not just for celebration
but to redefine the relationship with the people:
trust to be restored…
roles to be activated…
and paths to be corrected.

This is a duty…
and not an option.

And if the trees do not break the promise of spring…
then Fatah, as it enters its eighth conference,
must not break the promise to its people.

Because this people…
can no longer endure another season without blossoms.
