Kuwait Announces Its Response to Iranian Missiles and Drones That Led to the Death of an Indian
SadaNews - The official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saoud Al-Attouan, stated that the armed forces detected and dealt with 13 hostile ballistic missiles early today, Wednesday, inside Kuwaiti airspace and intercepted them over several residential areas, resulting in some debris falling.
Colonel Al-Attouan confirmed during the press briefing that in the past hours, the armed forces detected and dealt with 17 hostile drones.
He added that this Iranian aggression caused an attack on vital civilian facilities, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in the death of an Indian national and injuries to several individuals, in addition to significant material damages.
He called on Kuwaitis and residents not to approach, photograph, or publish and circulate any images or videos of the affected sites or the sites where shrapnel fell and debris from the interception operations on social media for the sake of public safety and security.
He emphasized the importance of adhering to the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities and obtaining information from accredited official sources, confirming that the armed forces will continue carrying out their tasks with full readiness and preparedness, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the country to take all necessary measures to maintain the country's security and the safety of citizens and residents.
Kuwait, along with many Gulf, Arab, and Islamic countries, condemned the Iranian attack on Kuwait and Bahrain.
