Election of Netanyahu's Associate to the Position of Israeli "State Comptroller"
Sada News Translation - The Israeli Knesset voted on Wednesday evening in favor of the election of Michael Rabileau to the position known as "State Comptroller."
The elections took place in two rounds due to the failure to resolve the first round as a result of vote manipulation, where he received 61 votes in favor against 57 in opposition in the second round, according to Channel 12 in Israel as translated by Sada News.
Rabileau is considered the top candidate for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the position.
Rabileau is a prominent lawyer, legal advisor, and personal attorney for Netanyahu and his family, frequently defending them and the policies of Netanyahu's government.
Thus, Netanyahu has succeeded in driving the first nail into the coffin of the opposition ahead of the Knesset elections.
