Palestine Police Sciences College Receives (IADLEST) Accreditation and Certificate of Excellence, Ranking First Globally Among Foreign Centers

SadaNews - Today, Monday, Major General Alaa Al-Saqa, the Director General of Police, received the accreditation certificate for the Palestine Police Sciences College from the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Training and Standards (IADLEST), along with a certificate of excellence awarded to the college for achieving the highest rating among foreign centers affiliated with the association outside the United States, thus ranking first globally among foreign centers and third globally after Kosovo. Major General Al-Saqa received the certificates from Mr. Joel Wiegert, Director of the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office, on behalf of the administrative body of the international association. This achievement crowns the relentless efforts made by the Palestine Police Sciences College to enhance the police training system by applying international standards qualifying for joining the association. This achievement was announced during the International Association conference held in Texas, USA, in June 2026. The ceremony to hand over the certificates took place at the Palestine Police Sciences College headquarters, attended by Brigadier General Eyad Ishtiya, Assistant Director General of Police for Planning and Training, Brigadier General Abu Zeid Abu Zeid, Director of the Training Department, and Brigadier General Ibrahim Al-Absi, Director of the Palestine Police Sciences College. Major General Al-Saqa emphasized that this achievement represents a pivotal milestone in the development of the police institution and embodies the advanced position that the Palestine Police Sciences College has reached at the international level. He noted that obtaining international accreditation, achieving the highest evaluation among foreign centers outside the United States, and receiving the certificate of excellence reflect its firm commitment to developing its capabilities according to the best global practices in police training.
