Upcoming Israeli-Lebanese Negotiations Round and Discovery of the First Arms Depot in the Experimental Area

SadaNews Translation - The Hebrew channel Reshet Kan reported on Monday evening that another round of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, under U.S. sponsorship, will be held in Rome next week.

According to the channel, as translated by SadaNews, this comes against the backdrop of monitoring developments related to the deployment of the Lebanese army in the experimental areas.

It indicated that the current coordination mechanism between the United States, Lebanon, and Israel is functioning well.

The Lebanese army reported that during one of its operations in the experimental area, it found a weapons depot belonging to Hezbollah, marking the first time that a target of the party has been discovered by the Lebanese army.

Diplomats see this as an example that demonstrates the effectiveness of the current mechanism and as a step that could lead to continued participation of the Lebanese army in dismantling Hezbollah.
