The authority urged all travelers to exercise patience and refrain from heading to the crossing at this time, and to reschedule their travel plans until an official notice is issued regarding the resumption of work.

This sudden halt comes at a time when the normal operating hours of the crossing extend only until 1:30 PM, which reduces the available time windows for movement and complicates matters for travelers, especially those with flight schedules.
