The General Assembly of the Insurance Union Holds Its Annual Meeting

SadaNews - The General Assembly of the Palestinian Insurance Companies Union held its 27th regular meeting at the union's headquarters on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board, Anwar Al-Shanti, after the legal quorum of the General Assembly was reached. The assembly approved the annual report on the union's activities, financial statements, final accounts, and the legal auditor's report for the year 2025.

The General Assembly cleared the Board of Directors of any liability and elected Talal Abu-Ghazaleh as the external auditor for the year 2026.

For his part, the Union Chairman Anwar Al-Shanti expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the union's family, including the Board of Directors, General Secretariat, executive staff, and committees, which had a significant impact on enhancing the union's presence and its efforts to protect the insurance industry and promote the national economy.
