Arrests and Raids During Wide-Scale Incursions in the West Bank and Jerusalem

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread and simultaneous campaign of incursions into cities, towns, and refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, which included house raids and the arrest of several Palestinians, in addition to field investigations with residents after detaining them for hours, while clashes erupted in some areas. The Prisoners Club reported that the occupation forces arrested four young men from the town of Izzoun, east of Qalqilya: Matwakkil Ridwan Abu Mahdi, Amjad Huwari Abu Maarouf, Mohammed Al-Hushar, and Mahmoud Al-Huwari. In Nablus Governorate, the occupation forces arrested Kayed Khafsh from Balata camp, and Majid Tabila from his home on Aseera Street, who is the head of the "Future Generations Hands" Association, in addition to Ezzedin Taysir Abdul Haq after raiding his family's home in the Al-Makhfiya neighborhood. The occupation forces also raided the towns of Beita and Sebastia, and the city of Nablus from multiple axes, including the Beit Furik and "Alon Moreh" checkpoints, in addition to invading Askar al-Balad and Balata camp and the village of Kafr Qalil, where they set up military checkpoints and searched vehicles. In Jericho Governorate, the occupation forces stormed the city and Aqbat Jabr camp, firing sound bombs and live ammunition during the operation, while incursions extended to Al-Fawwar camp and the town of Sa'ir in Hebron Governorate, as well as the village of Ras Karkar west of Ramallah, where the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters. In Qalqilya Governorate, the occupation forces raided citizens' homes during the incursion into the town of Izzoun, while also invading the town of Hizma north of occupied Jerusalem. In a related context, settlers continued their assaults on places of worship, targeting two mosques in Ramallah Governorate, setting parts of them on fire and defiling them, and writing hostile slogans on their walls.
