Israeli Poll: A Leap in Eizenkot's Seats, Surpassing Bennett

Translation by SadaNews - A poll conducted by Channel 13 in Israel has shown a dramatic political picture, about four months before the elections.

According to the poll, if elections were held today, the Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, would remain the largest party with 22 seats.

According to the translation by SadaNews, a notable change was recorded in the opposition bloc: The "Yashar" party, led by Gadi Eizenkot, won 20 seats, surpassing the "Badeh" list, which includes Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, which only garnered 17 seats.

The "Democrats" party, led by Yair Golan, and the "Yisrael Beiteinu" party, led by Avigdor Lieberman, each received 11 seats.

The Shas party, led by Aryeh Deri, obtained 9 seats, while the Otzma Yehudit party, led by Itamar Ben Gvir, secured 8 seats, as did the United Judaism party. The Hadash-Taal party received 6 seats, while the Ra’am party, led by Mansour Abbas, and the Religious Zionism party, led by Betzalel Smotrich, both crossed the nomination threshold by receiving 4 seats each. The Reserves party, the Balad party, and the Blue and White party did not reach the nomination threshold.

After partitioning into blocs, the current opposition bloc led by Eizenkot reached 59 seats, while the coalition bloc led by Netanyahu reached 51 seats, and the Arab parties reached 10 seats.

Regarding center-left coalition scenarios, the alliance between Eizenkot and Bennett is expected to achieve 35 seats, while the coalition led by Bennett will gain 31 seats. In both scenarios, the Reserves party surpasses the threshold by four seats, allowing it to reach 61 seats under Eizenkot's leadership or 60 seats under Bennett's leadership.
