The Arab Islamic Bank and SOS Children's Villages Organization Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Sponsor a Home in the SOS Children's Village and Support Struggling Families in the Palestinian Community
SadaNews - The Arab Islamic Bank and the SOS Children's Villages Organization in Palestine signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at sponsoring a home in the SOS Children's Village and supporting struggling families in the Palestinian community.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the bank in Ramallah, in the presence of the General Manager of the Arab Islamic Bank, Mr. Hani Nasser, the National Director of SOS Children's Villages - Palestine, Ms. Ghada Harzallah, along with several managers from both sides.
This collaboration comes as part of the Arab Islamic Bank's commitment to its role in social responsibility, by supporting abandoned children and the most needy families, which contributes to enhancing social protection and reinforcing the values of solidarity and mutual support in the Palestinian community. The memorandum of understanding includes sponsoring a home in the SOS Children's Village, which provides children with a safe and stable family environment, in addition to contributing to supporting families benefiting from the Family Strengthening Program, aiming to empower them to overcome economic and social challenges while maintaining their cohesion and caring for their children within their natural families.
The General Manager of the Arab Islamic Bank, Mr. Hani Nasser, stated: "This agreement is an extension of the ongoing cooperation and partnership with the SOS Children's Villages Organization, reflecting the bank's commitment to its developmental and humanitarian role towards the Palestinian community. Based on its strategy in social responsibility, the bank continues to support sustainable initiatives that contribute to enhancing community cohesion and empowering the most needy segments, achieving a positive and sustainable impact in the community."
He added: "We believe that partnerships with national institutions that have a social impact represent a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development. Therefore, we take pride in continuing our cooperation with the SOS Children's Villages Organization to support its humanitarian mission and programs aimed at serving Palestinian children and families."
For her part, the National Director of SOS Children's Villages in Palestine, Ghada Harzallah, expressed her deep appreciation to the Arab Islamic Bank for this significant initiative, affirming that this support reflects a true commitment to social responsibility and contributes to enhancing the stability of abandoned children and supporting families benefiting from the Family Strengthening Program in difficult circumstances. She added that sponsoring a home in the SOS Children's Village represents a direct investment in providing a safe and supportive environment for children, helping them grow in a stable family framework that ensures their protection, care, and better opportunities for their future.
