Maariv: Israel Has Not Targeted Ballistic Missile Launch Platforms in Iran
SadaNews - The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported, citing a military source, that the Israeli army did not attack ballistic missile launch platforms inside Iran, clarifying that such an operation requires different levels of operational and logistical preparedness. The source confirmed that the recent military move reflects Israel's determination to prevent Iran from rebuilding its air defense systems that were damaged in the past.
The source added that the Israeli army is prepared to expand the scope of its operations if necessary, indicating that the option to attack Lebanon or the southern suburbs of Beirut remains on the table if conditions demand it.
According to Maariv, Iran launched 20 missiles in ten batches after 50 days of rehabilitating its military capabilities, a number described by the Israeli source as low compared to what was expected.
