A Hamas Delegation Led by Al-Hayya Arrives in Cairo to Begin a New Round of Negotiations
SadaNews - The "Hamas" movement announced today, Friday, that a delegation from its leadership, headed by Khalil Al-Hayya, the leader of the movement in the Gaza Strip, has arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, this evening, in preparation for the start of a new round of negotiations tomorrow, Saturday, which is expected to last for several days.
The leadership delegation includes, in addition to Al-Hayya, Zahir Jabareen, the head of the movement in the West Bank, and members of the political bureau, Hossam Badran and Dr. Ghazi Hamad.
The delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with Egyptian officials and mediators, aimed at completing the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, stopping the repeated Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, and finding suitable mechanisms to enter the second phase of the agreement.
Additionally, the Hamas delegation will hold meetings with Palestinian forces and factions present there, with the aim of presenting a unified national position regarding various issues and reaching consensus on ways to address the challenges and issues facing the Palestinian people.
Informed Palestinian sources told "SadaNews" that a delegation from the "Hamas" movement is expected to head to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, today, Friday.
