Settlers Storm a School in Ramoun East of Ramallah and Steal Its Contents (Video)
SadaNews - Today, Sunday, several settlers stormed a school under construction in the village of Ramoun, east of Ramallah, and smashed and stole contents from it.
Ali Manasra, the construction site manager, explained that the settlers attacked the American school, a private school under construction located on the southwestern outskirts of the town of Ramoun, and broke into a large number of doors, stealing a collection of equipment and devices.
Manasra mentioned to the official agency that the attack included smashing 40 wooden doors, 3 metal gates, stealing the surveillance camera system and generators, among other equipment that was at the school construction site, which is owned by expatriate citizen Abdul Jawad Sarmah, who hails from the neighboring town of Deir Debwan.
The construction site manager estimated the damages at about $80,000, pointing out that this attack is the third of its kind that the school has suffered in just a few days.
He said that the repetition of the attacks emanating from a nearby colonial outpost just dozens of meters from the school is nothing but a message aimed at preventing the opening of this academic edifice.
