France Decides to Investigate Israel's Treatment of French Participants in Gaza Fleet
SadaNews - French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barot announced on Friday that he has requested the public prosecutor in his country to investigate Israel's treatment of activists from the French fleet heading to the Gaza Strip.
Barot stated: "Based on reports, I inquired with our Consul General in Turkey, who informed me of sexual assaults, exposing French citizens to cold, repeated beatings, and humiliations."
He added: All these actions may constitute criminal offenses, and I decided yesterday to refer the matter to the public prosecutor.
Many European countries have strongly condemned Israel's actions, particularly National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who appeared in a video insulting the participants.
