The Jerusalem governorate stated that Ben Gvir stormed Al-Aqsa, raising the Israeli occupation flag amidst heavy security, and performed provocative movements and dances within its courtyards, coinciding with the increased storming of settlers into the mosque on what is referred to as "Jerusalem Unification Day".

Meanwhile, the occupation forces began closing the Bab al-Sahira area in occupied Jerusalem, along with a massive deployment of police elements, ahead of the start of the so-called "Flag March" in the Old City, as settlers performed dances and provocations inside the town, coinciding with their storming of neighborhoods and markets in the city before the march began.
