Barcelona Star Hamza Abdel Kareem Included in Egypt's Squad for the 2026 World Cup
SadaNews - Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the Egypt national football team, announced the inclusion of Hamza Abdel Kareem, a player from Barcelona FC on loan from Al Ahly, in the preliminary list of the national team that will participate in the 2026 World Cup finals in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Ibrahim Hassan clarified in statements to the media center of the Egyptian Football Association on Tuesday evening that the final squad will be revealed in early June.
The Pharaohs’ training camp is set to begin on May 21, where the program includes a friendly match against the Russian national team at the New Administrative Capital Stadium on May 28, as part of the final preparations for the World Cup.
