Trump: We will continue to pressure Iran until an agreement is reached

SadaNews - On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he is considering relaunching the Freedom Project in the Strait of Hormuz but has not made a decision yet.

Trump told "Fox News": "We will continue to pressure Iran until an agreement is reached," indicating that "Iran's surrender will definitely happen."

The U.S. President also pointed out that "Iran does not have the technology needed to extract the nuclear stockpile," stressing that "Iranian negotiators have acknowledged that they need us to extract the nuclear stockpile."

He stated that the Freedom Project will not be limited to escorting ships when it resumes. He also noted in his remarks to "Fox News" that hardliners in Iran will "definitely relent."

In another interview with "CBS", Trump said: "I knew in advance that Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz because it's its only weapon."

The U.S. President described the naval blockade on Iran as a "brilliant plan," reiterating his famous line: "Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon."

He added that Iranians attempted to rebuild their capabilities in recent weeks and proposed a foolish suggestion that cannot be accepted, seeking negotiations after losing their leaders.

He pointed out that his country has achieved a significant military victory against Iran, adding: "I don't feel bored... Our strikes in Iran have achieved their objectives."

He emphasized that the ceasefire with Iran is in jeopardy, noting that "Iran agrees with us on something and then reneges on it... Iran has not committed in its proposal to refrain from pursuing nuclear weapons."
