Settlement of Land Ownership in Beit El Aimed at Transforming It into a City and Building 1200 Settlement Units
SadaNews Translation - The Hebrew Channel 14 reported on Monday evening that the land ownership rights of the "Beit El" settlement council near Ramallah have been settled.
According to the Hebrew channel, as translated by SadaNews, following this step, which comes after decades since the establishment of the settlement, it was decided to promote a detailed plan to build 1200 new housing units as a first phase.
The plan includes the development of infrastructure, in addition to the housing units, with plans to double the roads leading to the settlement to accommodate the massive population growth.
According to the channel, the strategic goal is to transform Beit El from a settlement into a city like those in the Green Line.
The Israeli Finance Minister and Minister of Settlement in the Ministry of Defense, Bezalel Smotrich, welcomed this step, describing it as "historic." He stated: "We continue to revolutionize the reality on the ground... Organizing land in Beit El is a moral and national duty that is finally being realized without further delays and legal holdups. We are building, developing, and reinforcing our control over the land of our ancestors... This is the optimal Zionist response to anyone trying to weaken us."
