This was reported by the "Wall Street Journal" in a report on Sunday evening, noting that "Iran's response includes ending the fighting and a gradual opening of the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for Washington lifting the blockade".
The report mentioned that "Iran's response demands guarantees for the return of uranium if negotiations fail or if Washington withdraws from the agreement".
According to sources cited in the report, "the Iranian response does not meet U.S. demands for commitments regarding the nuclear program".
It also "does not meet U.S. demands regarding the stockpile of highly enriched uranium".
The report indicated that Iran "proposes ending the fighting and starting a gradual opening of the Strait of Hormuz alongside the lifting of the U.S. blockade".
"Iran proposes diluting part of the highly enriched uranium and transferring the remainder to a country other than the U.S. ", according to the report.
The report stated that "Iran has expressed its readiness to suspend uranium enrichment, provided that the period is less than 20 years", emphasizing that Tehran's response "rejects the dismantling of nuclear facilities".
